Title: Cat and snake

Description: This project was a large project based on the Theme of Egypt. We were asked to carve certain sections, the one in this picture is based on the myth that each night after the sun set Ra, the sun god, takes the form of a cat and must take a boat across the river of fire, and each night he must defeat a serpent if the sun is going to rise again the following day.
